Now that school is over it is a good time to set our sights on all the wonderful things we can do during summer. Mainly creating real products.
Startupifier and Tech Think Tank are organizing the summer kick-off hackathon to kickstart our summer projects or create new ones.
Time: May 7th, 9am – 10pm
Place: Notman House
Concept
Kick-off on Friday and one intensive day of building a product on Saturday. At the end of the day your team will present what has been done.
For developers, designers and business developers.
You don't need to have an idea or a team to participate, you'll find a project.
We'll also have most startups and investors from Montreal present on Friday and Saturday evenings and during the day. Even if your hackathon project doesn't become a startup, you'll get some great contacts to the best companies in Montreal.
Why?
Hackathons are a great way to get a kick-start to a project, meet people, learn and have fun in a sort of productive way. It allows you to really focus on creating a MVP. Nothing extra, but easy to see if people get excited about what you've built. A great way to get to know the Montreal startup community and meet founders.
